SM Store
Below are the animations/motion graphics that I did for SM Store. All were assigned to me for storyboarding and animation
using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects respectively. These are only some of the works that I did for them.
GIFs for 2025 Internal Congress
Every year, the different departments of SM Store hold a conference called Congress and our team is assigned to assist our department with the graphics and videos to be used.
This year, the theme was breakups and so we were tasked to do the presentation for it.
I was the main animator for this and here are some of the GIFs used.
Your Year to Bloom
This was the very first animation that I did for SM Store. The event was entitled “Your Year to Bloom”. I was shown a video peg for the animation and so based on their design, I finished this within the day. This was for an activation so there were QR codes for people to scan and get discounts on.
Miniso Pen-Pen & Friends
Meet & Greet
I was given the green screen footages of the mascot dancing and was tasked to edit it on a plain background. Edited it on After Effects with the use of key light and did some color corrections as well.
Dad’s Month QR Animation
For this project, I was given a brief of what they wanted to happen with the activation, the animation being a racing game. This animation took some time because I had to track the movements of the cars if they’re going to pass by each other or collide. Also, the rendering took some time because of the background texture.
Halloween Animation 2024
I was asked to think of specific movements for each characters for this event. This one was fun to do because each has their own personality and I was able to add specific sound effects as well that would compliment their movements.
Game On 2024
I was given a crane game peg to make this animation. I was inspired by the crane games on e-commerce apps. It needed to be colorful, engaging sound effects/music and have a colorful theme.
JisuLife x SM Store
This was a last minute request. The key visual was already finished and the marketing head wanted it to seem like the fan was on. It was impossible to do because the fan literally doesn’t have blades. So I did the next best thing which was to emulate the wind it made.
So i made the promo sticker move instead: with the closest side flapping because of the fan “wind”. I also added some sound effects to make it more believable.
This promo was extended so we just integrated the same animation and only changed the details and music.
Gift Pass 2024
Holiday video
This was a challenging task because there wasn’t a clear direction of what the animation would look like so we decided to stick with classic elegant style with minimal movements.

SM Store 2024 Holiday video
Animating the Santa sprites was really fun and I had a little bit freedom with how I wanted them to move. The holiday greetings change every year and this was last year’s.
SM Store x Watsons
Crossover Sale
I did this by masking the model as well as the shape to create the illusion of a transition
SM Makati Beautyverse
This was a simple animation made for the screen in Bridgway connecting
SM Makati and One Ayala. The other size is for SM Makati Facade which you can see from the Edsa Highway.
I had fun animating this because it was simple yet being able to highlight each word to describe women was empowering and I hope that the women he saw this felt empowered and connected too.
SM Store Mother’s Day
I used a bit of 3d space in animating this video. I did this to make it a little bit more aesthetic and fun for the viewer.
